The New Year is here! Show off this tasty Sausage Stuffed Mushroom appetizer—the perfect finger food for your NYE Party!

  • 30 large mushroom caps (stems removed)
  • 1 cup frozen spinach 
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • 2 T Olive Oil 
  • 1 lb Italian Sausage (spicy or sweet)
  • 30 mushroom stems (from caps), finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup celery
  • 1/2 chopped onion
  • Cracker Boy Original Seasoning

  • Directions:

        1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees. 
        2. Sautee mushroom caps in olive oil until lightly brown, then transfer to nonstick baking sheet.
        3. Add more olive oil to the skillet and brown sausage, crumble. 
        4. Add celery, chopped onion, mushroom stems, and 1 T Cracker Boy Seasoning to a food processor and pulse to chop. 
        5. Transfer mixture to pan with sausage and sauté 4 mins. 
        6. Add (patted dry) and defrosted spinach to mixture. 
        7. Add breadcrumbs to mixture, and sauté a few more minutes until everything is combined. 
        8. Stuff the mushrooms with sauté mixture and cook for about 8 minutes or until the tops of the stuffing are crispy and golden.
